It is hard to let our parents go even when you feel like they have lived a good full life. You are in my heart as I pray for your healing process to continue. Just to share with you, I am experiencing the same thing but it feels "incomplete" because we haven't done everything in complete yet. No memorial service, nothing. My father passed away on Dec. 12, 2008 of end stage renal disease. He was 83 years old - yes, a very long life. I was preparing myself for the inevitable that my parents will one day leave the earth since they have live a truly long and fulfilling life. No matter how well prepared I was, I wasn't. The day God called him home, I grieved too. It wasn't easy to let them go but we must. I am grateful that we have an opportunity to share, learn and grow. We can all do this together - online. May you find wonderful opportunity to share, learn, grow and pass on the wisdoms to your children. It is something that can never be taken away.
