Jon,
Great Vlog… good point about being a poor tipper. I think that maybe most of us don’t realize that tipping is a part of “good practice” at resturants and pizza delivery.
How much tip should we give? I know that at resturants, we should give 15 – 20% depending on how well you liked the food, environment, waiter/waitress’ service, etc. But what about bars, pizza delivery, hotel baggage carrier, etc?
How much is appropriate?
I used to work Denny’s as waitnress in 90″s but everytime when i service deaf people. they NEVER give me a TIP. SAD… No one has taught them to give tip when ppl work hard with 2.50 an hour. I am not kidding…….
Because The deaf Always Pity themselves!!!
They should be ashame
Thanks for explaining about tip to the pizza delivery. I thought that that pizza stores already add few dollars with the order price for delivery before I give delivery man $1. I thought that few additional dollars and $1. would be over $3.00 together ??? I will learn more about the tips with pizza delivery . I mostly call pizza to order then I always pick up it ready . I think that both deaf and hearing customers do not tip sometimes . Your face expressions are giving laughs . Smile

They hired me with Job coach. Of course deaf can do it but be sure have driver license clean record and car insurance very important to be awareness among community and world. Yes, deaf always have lousy tips many time when I go restaurant with friend or bar or anywhere but I never do that lousy tip myself. Right now, I am Shoe Supervisor at Kohls (retails) that how I am successful throughout career toward attitude and work hard and dedicated the service at Kohls for five years now. Myself I graduated from NTID there that time I do see many deaf did work Domino Pizza deliver to dorm of NTID when I ordered and do that pay either small or large tips. You can do even DEAF POWER yea!!!!
Its no surprised for me… I, Used be Pizza Hut Deliever…. How? my friend is deaf and his brother is a manager.. that’s how I got hired.. Yea, its easy to deliever.. then I filled it out other pizza hut… got hired, they liked me bec I was the fastest driver.. No, I do not speedly like darn INDY500. How? I avoiding traffic lights… Using private streets… When they complaint, know what I says to them? “Call my boss and see how much for late” out of questions… agreed and lower price, I see a happy man….
Deaf always, always left a small tip but hey, Respect them for smaller income… if you don’t like it, tell to SSI/SSA to give them deaf a more money… You know how they do… “NOOO weee caan’t”..
Later… many years later… Deaf signs and wants to order… One told deaf lady, I go get Greg, he’s deaf.. She dont believe… I said “Hello, May I take your order? what? Yea OFC I am DEEEAAAAF!, look my ASL.” duck head and believed me…

Hello! I really enjoyed your video! Great facial expressions! And I was very excited to see that ‘Raychelle made a comment because I’ve been wanting to email her and didn’t have the correct email for her. We met several years ago when she was a guest at my bed and breakfast in Hawaii. I’m also trying to locate Dennis Smith, and I notice on Feb. 27, a Dennis Smith wrote to you. Is there any way you can contact him to find out if he’s the person I’m trying to reach? His parents are from New York. If this is him, please ask him to email me at info@margoscorner.com .
Thank you very much!!
If you ever come to my B n B, I’ll make a pizza for you!
That was fun to watch. I laughed and cried.
Thank you for making my day.

I work pizza place total 11 years different places in sc, I got aot interested expirence some of them are deafies are lousy tippers even they e mailed me to give them employee discount still no tippers but some do give me tips but I usually get their money but never give back in a changes its like who give a damn… but its fun to work as delivery bc no boss watchin I ditchin to see friends chattn and knew pizza gets cold I still delivery that pizzza to person late and said nothin still got tips I use my deaf excuses lolol but they sure did called the store why pizzas cold we didn’t care knew we made too much money, I used to be serious abt job but now things changed we flexable at pizza hut I see a lot funny things going on I even delivery alot stripper clubs they expect me to give them free pizza for lap dances. and I even seen them nude. Some thing I hate when I come to their house they speak thru doors and look thru peek hole and knew won’t open til I speak its “pizza hut” u know how deaf couldn’t hear to respondin sometimes we have to stand few more min til then open and apologizing and or go back to the store some co workers or manager have call them and explain situation abt deaf person delivery to their doors … again no tips? Its full of crap. But its cool, and I even hate when they ask me to get their change over 50 dollar or 100 dollar bill they want car pool go to nearest gas station or stores get change then drop back still no damn tip? So from now on, ( I shake mi head) I got no change for larger bill I told them either they get change or come to the store. some of them make me stay in their house wanna sit down til somebody go get change come back, I still don’t get no tip, damn them. and I sometimes customer ask for parmeian cheese packets, when they live 3 story apartment .. I have go down stairs to my car and get it and go back up to give them but still no tip? Sometimes a customer complaint and curse in my face I give them stanky attitude and I shove my hand to their face and as in gesture say I’m deaf, they stop speakin and person said I’m so sorry but guess what they do gave me a biggest tip. That’s funny… and I even delivery to another resaurant especially mcd they real goofy…its right across the street from our pizza place they place order to delivery in beautiful warm weather… why not take a walk? I came there still no tip! What a retarded. Anyway I been doing so many things @ pizza hut, 5 star pizza, and za brick oven pizza I do anything excpt phones .. And by the way ur v log is funny its remind me some of mi expirence lol
I am deaf from Afghanistan. I want to work and ?live in the U.S.A . How can I
begin to find a job in the U.S.A ?
There are organizations in the U.S.A that help ?deaf people find jobs.
They may be able to help, but you would still have ?to go through the other
work visa channels, etc, before being able to work ?in the u.s.a .
There are people who help others make the ?transition from other countries to
the US , you should research them, instead of ?asking on here. Good luck
PLEASE SAY DEAF GET A JOB FIND
