Jon,
Wonderful editing skills – and your video is beautiful. Right! I never realized that the new Field House was designed to copy Gallaudet sign! Duh me! Didn’t see that closely.
Is this a ‘free’ PR video for Gallaudet? They oughta to pay you for this work!
Grins,
Amy
Hi there,
Funny is that you mentioned the archecture design for the fieldhouse that have same moverment of the sign for Gallaudet. I saw that, too. It was when I was there on 16 months contract serving om committee for Deaf Way II. I walked down the sidewalk amd met I King Jordan and told him what I noticed, the sign for Gallaudet. He relied, “Oh, wow, I never thought of it, you are the artist’s eye.” It was that time we had no idea he’d end up losing his ball. But I have heard plenty that many fac were not too happy with him, especially withy hiring Jane as provost without their approval.
Like Amy asking you, were you paid by Gallaudet?
You did a fantastic job opening the Gallaudet University’s famed places on video.
Beautiful! Awesome.
Perhaps you should work at the public relation department to promote Gallaudet!!
Thanks for showing Bob’s Vlog site. Where is that?
Jon,
Again my sloppiness. I meant to quote him, “…you have the artist’s eyes” not “…you are the artist’s eye” It could be “…you are as an artist” but I remember him saying, “… you have the artist’s eye.” It is not only me but many of you have the artist’s eyes. Deaf eyes?
How did you get into Bob’s vlog site? Just curious…..
White Ghost
Nice work! More emphasize on Gallaudet — Thomas Gallaudet with Alice, Tower clock — Gallaudet should not be forgotten. What will we do today if Gallaudet is not existed back then?
Nice vlog! I miss Gallaudet, ahhh. I admit to see one person still there, that person was there when I started my freshman year in 1994 and 13 years later… wow! That’s Gallaudet! heheheh
Thumbs up, good to see some places like studio and SLCC plot. Thanks.
Thanks for filming the Gallaudet campus. I sure miss visiting there especially the studio where I spent most of my time on the campus.
It seems you had a blast visiting DC!
See you around.
I kinda expected more of Gally in your vlog…what about the dorms, HMB, bookstore, Rathskellar, museum (in college hall)? Excelelnt viewing angles of statues and College Hall. Loved seeing you in the vlog…can you share more?
Good job on Vlog at Gally campus! Thanks for showing us at Bob’s studio, also SLCC.
Haha! yes that is Stefan Bergan and I assume he lives in Gally!?! I enrolled in 1993! 14 years! he’s been on Gally campus!
