DDS and workgroup feedback
Please review these five areas:
- Eligibility: Who can audition? Ask Lisa to clarify the “DDS list” question.
- Privacy and consent: Which fields are needed? Who manages access, retention, and deletion? What consent wording is needed?
- DeafPlus communication access: Are the words and three steps clear? Review ASL, captions, transcript, contact options, and other supports. Check phone readability, screen-reader access, and video controls with DeafPlus participants.
- Assisted registration: Can a caregiver or communication partner help? How will the participant’s choice and consent be confirmed?
- Scheduling: Choose a slot or staff assignment? Confirm dates, times, time zone, location or format, length, and accessible confirmations.
