Dr. Carolyn Stern in Spirit Magazine!
Last weekend, I rode on Southwest Airlines back to home from Bay Area for Deafhood Monologues and couldn’t sleep then pull out Spirit magazine to kill some time. (GASP!) WHAT!!! Dr. Carolyn Stern in it! How many people would read THIS article in DEC?
Quotes:
“Upper-case-D Deaf refers to members of the Deaf community, a culture of non-hearing people who communicate visually, with sign language, as compared to your uncle the carpenter, who’s gone lower-case deaf because he didn’t use earplugs while working with power tools.”
“Because it’s hard in Deaf Culture to take notes while someone is signing, people who are Deaf often have better memory skills.”

Cinema Festival, I just…
Samuel Goldwyn Jr. Rocks!
Because he didn’t talk about what hearing people want or what deaf people should! ZERO of THAT!
Move is so….
Movie is so about passion!
Where can you show your cinema by believing it!
He just wants to know if you have an audience and a movie then just scout to them to watch the movie!
YES, I had faced many people, who are so…
Many people out there are SUCKS! There also are awesome people!
No matter what you went through and your heart will take care of it!
As long you are open mind about it!
Be careful what you deal with.
You know what you want through specific question to make your movie so amazing!
Don’t chase the audience by what you look for! Because they are so wide in various audience!
You have to think what your movie would be strong enough to show!
The audience will be interested to see an amazing movie!
Of course, the audience will follow you!
Now, you wonder why I do wear this! (STOP AUDISM)
Of course, we have a lot stories about audism and people still complain, complain, and complain!
Keep saying that Hollywood is audism.. blah, blah, blah, ohh.. they are crab theory.. blah, blah, blah..
stop it… JUST STOP IT!
Just to throw an idea to have audism story after we already have audism in documentary film.
COME ON, create a narrative film that put hearing people and Deaf people in it! SWIRL IT UP! It’s all about AUDISM!
Do you think I preach to hearing people about audism? NO!
The movie can be powerful and faced a confliction and how can we make it a solution.
The movie can have a nice introduction and then the confliction comes up in the middle of the movie with a powerful ending.
I already have see Deaf people have problems working with other Deaf people while making movies. This movie, “COLORS”, reminds me that the black gangs go against with different black gangs! We are done, Done, and DONE with that!
I challenge you that Deaf people should HIRE hearing people in their movie!
Samuel is so good!
He just sits down with an interpreter then Jade stands up and says that she did not come to just share her movie with everyone. She has to make the movie for money first! YES, money, MONEY!! COME ON!
How can I start my movie?
Your passion will take care of it!
Just focus on your head, heart, and hand to connect with each other to become stronger!
Just go ahead! GO AHEAD!!
Do you really want to have your movie in beautiful theatre. Guess what? Hollywood’s palm hand on your face! Should you be fighting with them? Just get out of here and FORGET H-O-L-L-Y-W-O-O-D! Just forget it!
Just ask people to bring beach chairs and set up in the garage to make it like your own theatre!
It does not matter if it’s a lousy movie if you are being concerned. SO WHAT! You make it happen, Happen, HAPPEN!
When I went to the festival and there were few words mentioned that were powerful I had to capture them tightly.
The place is just happened to be there where I socialized with various of people. Some of them are SUCKS! Some of them are so AWESOME especially those foreign people that I can see SO much passion in them!
I have see some of the people who put too much concerns such as what if, What If, WHAT IF!!
Just don’t be stupidity, DON’T do stupid!
Just Go, GO! Dig it!
When you are complete a movie that it is printed and wrapped up. You listen to the audience and don’t tell them that you will fix or make any changes in the movie. You just move on and create a new movie with valuable feedback and/or strong suggestions by the audience. THAT! If your family and friend notices your new movie had improved by their feedback. Your new movie could inspire the new audience and they could share with different people. Do you know what that means? Your audience will grow to be big, bigger, BIGGER! DIG IT!
You put so much creativity and passion to be put in a jar and you will feel pressured by having the lid (Audist) on top of the jar.
You can remove the lid of the jar and say “excuse me and thank you very much”
Now, you can bloom out of the jar then make an awe!
I make a decision on what I’m interested to collect information and to share. All you have to do is to grab or leave it.
